We are done.

We are done with Maymester----which means i am all done with Spanish---and we just had our closing night of Annie Get Your Gun last night. It was an awesome show and it was a lot of fun. The girl who played Annie, Megan Klein, was awesome and so talented and the whole cast was a lot of fun and we all got along really well. My mom was also able to come visit to see the play. It was great to see and spend time with her. My mom is so cool and helpful too, as it was a crazy last week of school before the play, she made dinner and did laundry for us. We really appreciated it!
Here are a few pictures from dress rehearsal. I should have a few backstage pictures up soon too.
Dele Opefia played Frank Butler and this is him with some chorus girls in the opening number,"There's No Business Like Show Business". I'm on the right.
The whole cast at the end of "No Business"
Also part of "No Business"---I do this jump thing in the front and it is cool it was caught on camera. I'm a little blurry, but still cool. Tyler is on the left with the red bandanna.
I danced on pointe in the song "The Girl that I Marry" to sort of represent the ideal girl for Frank, and what Annie is not.
This is the all guys number "My Defenses Are Down". Tyler is singing his heart out. :)
Tyler and his rope. Cool, huh? He was a pretty good lookin' cowboy.
The Ballroom scene...we are no longer cowboys, saloon girls and Indians, we are socialites. I'm in the purple dress and Tyler is holding my hand.
This is where all the ladies greet Annie.

That is all the pictures I have so far....

In other news, we are going back to Oregon for most of the summer, as Tyler got an internship with the fish and wildlife dept.
AND...................................................................
....................................................................................I'M PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you did not know already......
I am 12 weeks along and due December 15th! I will graduate right on time!
Thats all for now!

So...it has been a long time...

Yes, I know I have not posted since April 1st... I have several excuses which mostly have to do with being super busy. April went by really quickly, finals are over, Cinderella is over, and now Tyler and I are both doing May Term and the May musical, "Annie Get Your Gun". We are both having a ton of fun doing the musical! I am taking Spanish 3 and 4 so I am bit overwhelmed, but it is only one month! I have to keep telling myself this...

Here are some pictures from Cinderella. I had to take them off of facebook, since Tyler brought the camera but for some reason did not bring a working memory card. Grrrr... Oh, well... Aleah (who was the fairy godmother) took some more pictures of me and the other seasons fairies, but I don't have those yet, so these will have to do for now.

This is me and Amelia (in crown) with the class we both teach. She teaches on Mondays and I teach on Wednesday. They are a great group of girls!

This is the four fairies, winter (me), spring (Tamsin), summer (Bronwyn) and fall (Carrie) with the fairy godmother (Aleah). We were the fairy godmother's helpers and filled the position of the friends of the lead, which is part of most classical ballets. We each had a solo, which was a lot of fun!
Basically, this is main cast! All the fairies, Cinderella, the Prince, the Step Sisters and Missy (the one who made it all possible!)

This ballet was a lot of fun and I am so glad that I got the opportunity to be a part of it. Hopefully, I will have some more pictures up soon!

Sorry...no pictures.

We have been having beautiful weather here lately. It has been sunny, warm, and the trees are finally blossoming! I love Spring, especially after a long, cold, snowy winter. I will be sure to take some pictures soon.

As far as news goes... We both got a part in the next SVU play, Annie Get Your Gun. Yes, we, meaning Tyler and I. I convinced him to try out, as there was a serious need for more guys, and he got in. We are both part of the ensemble, which I expected as I can only really sing in a group. I'm not a soloist. It will be a lot of fun and the show will be at the end of May!

Also, I'm in the ballet Cinderella with Missy Floyd (who teaches ballet at SVU). Our first show is next Saturday. I will have pictures from that soon.

Until next time...enjoy the spring weather wherever you are!

Some old, but not too old pictures

So... I have not really had anything to blog about and was looking through some old pictures and decided to post some of them for fun. Many of them are random and they are in no particular order. All of them are before we moved to BV, except for the 1st one.
This was at the Winter Ball this past December and for some reason I never posted it.
Tyler on our honeymoon, on a ferry, headed towards Orcas Island (one of the San Juan Islands)
Also on our honeymoon, we stayed in a cottage 3 nights and camped one on our way back home and yes, I am pretending to cook.
Our good friend, Alex (was one of Tyler's room mates) took pictures for us at the temple. Here are just two and I love them!
Now for a few engagement pictures that were not used:

Our former room mates rehearsal dinner---yes, Jillian was my roommate and Nick was Tyler's
Tyler and Alex(the same Alex who took those pics above) at Nick and Jillian's wedding as groomsman

Well, there you have it.

Spring Break-part 2

Spring break is over, but we had great break. Here are a few more pictures from our day trip to Monticello and my hair cut.

It was a lot of fun having Carol here and we are so glad she came and visited!

My new haircut:
This really is not a great picture and my hair looks darker than it really is, I have a hair going across my face, and a dorky smile--- but it is the only one I have.

I have auditions tomorrow for Annie Get Your Gun, I would really like to get a decent part, but who knows! I think I have Tyler convinced to audition as well! I have also been really busy with ballet as I am doing Cinderella with Missy Floyd's company. It has been a lot of fun so far and the show is in April.
Until next time!

Spring Break-part 1

Tyler's grandma came and visited for the week. So far, we have shown her around BV and Lexington and just got back from spending 2 days in D.C. Here are some pictures from DC.

Day 1:

Tyler and Carol in the Natural History Museum
I like rocks.
I had so many more cool rock pictures to post, but had to limit it to these two, as I am sure no one cares as much as I do. Oh, and I like Tyler's face.

The Vietnam War Memorial
This is the little inn we stayed at! It was so cute and very nicely decorated.

Day 2:
The National Cathedral--I never really thought about going here, but it was pretty much my favorite thing we saw.
This is the Bishop's Garden next to the cathedral. It was beautiful!

Thats all for now! There will be more at the end of the week!
