Elanor actually turned 6 months a week ago, but you all still need an update (well, whoever cares about that sort of thing). We have not been to a doctor this month as we just moved here and have not figured that out yet. However, we measured her and weighed her ourselves, so here are her stats:
Height: 24in.-- below 5%
Weight: 14.5 lbs--between 10-25%
Head: 16.5 in--25%
So, she's pretty little, though she has plenty of rolls.
Elanor is so much fun. She laughs, squeals, smiles and talks so much. She loves being outside and likes to eat flowers when I'm not looking. She rolls over both ways, loves playing with all sorts of toys, paper and random kitchen utensils. Elanor can sit up really well and prefers to play that way. She is not crawling yet, but kicks her legs, tries to move with them, sticks her little bum in the air, and lifts her chest up. I'm sure she will be crawling soon, but she prefers to be more advanced verbally. She is very talkative and social, and says,"dadada" a lot. Elanor loves to stand up on the bench during church and talk to the people behind her. She has also taken to talking while she is crying, so it sounds like she is complaining and trying to tell us what is wrong. Its pretty cute. Elanor has also started solids and loves everything. She has tried apples, pears, peas, broccoli, sweet potatoes, yams, acorn squash, potatoes, lentils, oatmeal, rice cereal, bananas, scrambled eggs, corn, and carrots. She loves to eat! I have also taken Elanor to the pool a lot lately and she loves to swim! She also is loving all the extra attention she is getting from the McKees, who are all great with her. It has been really fun living with them!
We love this little girl!
