Beautiful Oregon

So, we are back and I will now be a much better blogger. We had a wonderful time in Oregon! We saw a lot of family and friends and saw and did many fun things. I am going to try and keep this post brief and mostly show a ton of pictures of everything we did.

We spent the first half of the week with my family:

We went to the beach (Elanor's first time!)

Elanor with her "Nan" (my mom).
Elanor was so excited I could hardly get a good picture since she was running so fast!

So excited!

Elanor loved digging holes or rather loved having her grandpa dig her big holes and then bury her in them.

We went to Ecola State Park and it was great beach because it had a nice sandy beach and also tide pools.

My brother, Erik, and Elanor in the "Secret Place" , as Elanor called it. She calls any place that is sort of dark or over grown "secret". It is pretty cute.
More of "The Secret Place". It was rather beautiful.

Elanor in Grandpa's clothes.

The Oregon Coast is gorgeous.

My brother, Erik, is silly.
Ian looks thrilled, as does Erik.

Elanor getting some shoulder rides from her uncles!

At my parent's house we had a lot of fun and relaxed a bit:

We went in the forest and made flower crowns,
visited with some old and wonderful friends,
played in a little kiddie pool,

and played croquet.

The second half of the week we stayed with Tyler's family. We had a blast.

We went to the zoo the first day, but I forgot the camera!

We also spent a lot of time playing with cousins, Casen and Colbi:

All of the Cunningham side cousins: L to R-- Tyler and Elanor, Trevor (Tyler's bro), Emma, and Casen and Colbi down below.

We spent a ton of time in the pool, since Tyler's Mom, Kim, or "Mema" , as Elanor calls her, has a pool. I was however, in the pool and forgot to bring the camera out every time. Elanor LOVES to swim. She is a dare devil and loves jumping in and going under water. We have to keep a very close eye on her.

We also went to The Children's Museum, which was super fun!

On the drive home Tyler and Elanor had some fun with Elanor's stuffed animals:

It was such a fun trip and we are so glad we were able to see so many people and sad we did not see everyone. We miss our family a lot, so it was wonderful to see you all!
