The Weekly Photo

I'm in a play! I am really excited about this one. The past few plays I have been in with my mom (Black Swan Youth Theatre) have been small parts and most of the cast has been high school or younger. However, for this play, since it is the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare, she opened up auditions to anyone she has previously worked with. Most of the cast members are out of high school and several of them are from my group of actors growing up. It is so great to act with them again and it has been so fun!

You really should come, it is in a park, the play is "As You Like It" (so funny and pretty much everything you could want in a play), and I and some truly great people and actors are in it!

Sorry I have not written in forever. Does anybody even read this anymore? We were really busy in March with the play, moving to a new house, we did not have internet for three weeks, plus some birthdays, Easter, and some small trips. We've been busy!

Auntie Sue, my cousin, Jean, and her daughter, Natalie, came down for a visit. We also went up to Bellingham to visit my sister and see her and Ricky's new place. And Elanor was in Disneyland over the weekend with her grandparents! Busy and fun week!

Well, we are back in Utah and the play is over. The play went really well and Elanor had so much fun being in the show. She certainly loves being onstage. We had a super busy last couple weeks with dress rehearsals, shows, family and finishing up last minute stuff for the play, which is why I did not blog. So here are two Weekly Photos:

I was out of town again, which is why this is late! I went back to Oregon to see The Sound of Music, which my mom directed, I choreographed and my brother, Erik, was in. It was a pretty amazing show to say the least. Elanor loved it and is now obsessed with Gretl.

The Weekly Photo

I was is Oregon (again) from last Thursday to yesterday. Sorry for the lack of posts and for a late Weekly Photo! Elanor and I went back to see the play my mom directed, I did the choreography for and my brother is in, "A Midsummer Night's Dream". Elanor was even able to watch a show, which was super fun. She loved it, was engaged pretty much the whole time and asked many loud questions. It was adorable. When I did plays with my mom, we also did "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and so on the Friday night show a few of those actors came to see this show. It was so fun to watch the play with them and some of them I had not seen in several years! I was sad that more of us were not able to go, but many of them are spread across the U.S. and world (one in England and another in New Zealand). I am so glad I was able to go back for the show, as I miss being involved in theatre so terribly much.
