Easter

Did everyone have a lovely Easter? We sure did and it was a lot of fun having Elanor for Easter. Holidays are so much more fun with kids!

On Easter morning, I got up and hid the Easter eggs (we had to since we dyed them!). First Elanor looked through her Easter basket to see what the Easter Bunny brought. Most of it was from Gran, but we got her a cup and this food thing for when she starts eating solids in a month or so. We got her a cup because she is always wanting to drink out of our cups for some reason. She loved it!

Good Morning!                                                                                        Looking at her gifts!

 Looking for eggs!
Found one!
( I know it is a little silly because Elanor does not even know what is going on, but it was still fun)

All of the eggs in Elanor's basket.

For Easter dinner, we ate with Jessica and Ricky. At our apartment complex there is a picnic table, so we moved it to a more scenic spot (for some reason they keep it by the dumpsters) and had a delicious dinner. Tyler and I made a lamb and potato pie (recipe from the Harry Potter cookbook). Jessica and Ricky made a tasty salad (complete with goat cheese and walnuts) and biscuits. It was a scrumptious meal and the weather was beautiful, so everything was pretty much perfect.

 Yummmmm....

I hope everyone had a Happy Easter!
